上記は、縁（えん、えにし）の意味ですが、仏語としての解釈である、”結果を生じる間接的な原因”ということが今の自分にとても大切なことではないかと思っています。
私自身、若い時からどうしたら最短でゴールに辿り着けるかいうことばかり考えて生きてきような気がしています。ただ年を重ねてきて、ゴールに辿り着くためには、途中休んだり、周り道をして道中の景色を楽しむことが必要だと経験的に実感するようになりました。
それは、縁という言葉の他の意味である、巡り合わせや、人と人との関わり合いも、まさに今の自分に最も必要なこと。
特に、これから残りの人生を豊かにしてくれるかどうかは、自分にとって未知のものにどれだけ多く巡り会うことができるかだと思っています。
そのためには、日々の生活に感謝しながら、起こること全て自分の勉強と成長のためと決めて精一杯生きていければいいなと思っています。

Since I was young, I have always thought about how to reach the goal in the shortest possible time. As I have gotten older, however, I have come to realize from experience that in order to reach the goal, it is necessary to take breaks along the way and enjoy the scenery along the way.
That is the other meaning of the word “karma,” which is also about chance encounters and relationships with other people, exactly what I need the most right now.
In particular, I believe that it is how many unknowns I can encounter that will enrich the rest of my life.
To this end, I hope to live life to the fullest, appreciating everyday life and deciding that everything that happens is for my own learning and growth.
