Let it be

For though they may be parted

There is still a chance that they will see

There will be an answer

Let it be

Let it be, let it be

Let it be, let it be,

Yeah there will be an answer

Let it be

(English)

Today was my first guitar lesson in two weeks, and after practicing Iruka’s famous song “The Last Snow” for the past two months, I was able to play it very well, so I decided to ask her to play the Beatles’ “Let It Be” as my next song to practice.

This song was released in 1970, but it was recorded in 1968, the same year I was born, so it’s been more than half a century.

It’s been more than half a century, the same year I was born, but it still doesn’t feel old, probably because it’s one of the best songs of all time.

Incidentally, one month after this song was released, Paul McCartney announced that he was leaving the Beatles, and the Beatles disbanded.

Perhaps Paul wrote this song with the feeling that he had to move on to the next stage of his life.

For though they may be parted

There is still a chance that they will see

There will be an answer

Let it be

Let it be, let it be

Yeah there will be an answer

Let it be
