6/26に主要政党に向けて、SDGsの取り組みに関しての考えを問うメールを送っていたのですが、日本共産党から回答をいただき、その中に7/14に公開されたSDGsに関する各政党のアンケート結果のウェブのリンクが添付されていました。下記は、二つの設問に対する各政党の回答です。
SDGsの重要性に関しては、国民民主党のように、短く一言で回答しているケースから、日本共産党のようにかなり詳しく回答しているケースと様々ですが、全ての政党が、SDGsの推進は重要であると回答しています。
財源の確保に関しても、政党により回答の短さ、長さはあったものの、言っていることはほぼ共通していました。その中でも、日本共産党がかなり具体的かつ意欲的な提案となっていて私的には好感が持てました。
さて、ここで一つ気になったことがあります。それは、与党である自民党の回答がなかったことです。
そこで、ウェブで、”SDGs”、”自民党” でワードサーチをしてみたのですが、こちらでもほとんど情報がヒットしません。
私の検索の仕方が悪いのかもしれませんが、そもそも自民党のホームページの政策やビジョンを紹介するページに、SDGsもしくは、SDGsで掲げる17の目標に関連する項目に関して自民党がどう取り組んでいくかを説明してしかるべきだと思うのは私だけでしょうか。
自民党にこのまま国の運営を任せていいのか心配になってしまいました。自民党に、SDGs外交議連という組織があることは分かったので、もう少し調べてみたいと思います。

On June 26, I had sent an email to the major political parties asking for their thoughts on SDGs initiatives, and I received a response from the Japan Communist Party (JCP), which included a web link to the results of their questionnaire on SDGs that was released on July 14.
The following are the responses of each political party to the two questions.
With regard to the importance of the SDGs, the responses varied from short, one-word answers like the National Democratic Party of Japan (NDP) to very detailed answers like the Japan Communist Party (JCP), but all parties answered that the promotion of the SDGs is important.
With regard to securing financial resources, the answers were both short and long depending on the political party, but what they said was almost the same. Among them, the Japan Communist Party (JCP) made a very concrete and ambitious proposal, which I found very favorable.
Now, there was one thing that caught my attention. The ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) had not responded.
So I did a word search on the web for “SDGs” and “LDP,” but I found almost no information here either.
It may be that I am not searching the right way, but am I the only one who thinks that the LDP should explain how it is going to tackle the SDGs or the items related to the 17 goals listed in the SDGs on the page introducing its policies and visions on its website?
It makes me wonder if we can trust the LDP to run the country like this. Now that I know that the LDP has an organization called the SDGs Diplomacy Caucus, I would like to do some more research.
