(English)

Yesterday, I had an unexplained fatigue and didn’t feel like doing anything, so I decided to go to bed earlier than usual and prepare for tomorrow.

Today, I woke up at 4:30am to prepare for the business review I have to do at work this week. Also, since I didn’t step outside and move around yesterday, I did some light strength training in between work.

I still feel a little heavy-headed, but I’m feeling much better than yesterday, and more importantly, I’m so busy with work this week that I’m sure I’ll find myself forgetting about my physical condition.

Perhaps it is important to observe and understand this biorhythm of the body in order to bring my performance to its peak.

In case you’re wondering, this week’s week-long business review, my main presentation will be on Thursday. It’s not that easy to get my performance to peak for my presentation on Thursday after being in meetings all day for three days. Also, since all business reviews are conducted in English, it may take twice as long to prepare for a presentation as it does to prepare in Japanese.

However, since I have been doing this for many years, I am confident that I can handle the presentation with a certain degree of fluency, but I believe that I will not be able to grow further if I continue in this way.

It is a matter of course to bring my physical condition to the best possible level for the performance. My true ability lies in how I can add value to the other person from there.

This April marks 10 years since I started working at my current company. The company’s founder, Steve Jobs, was a man who placed great importance on presentation. Even after his death, this idea has remained in the company’s DNA. I think it is a treasure for me that I was able to hone my presentation skills in such a company.

I have three days left before my presentation on Thursday, so I will continue to prepare for it, focusing on whether or not the audience will be interested in my presentation.
