(English)

Last year’s summer was short, and it felt like winter came right after the autumn. It also got even colder in January, which made me realize once again that Japan has four distinct seasons.

The four seasons are often compared to the seasons of life, and since I will be 54 this year, I guess I am in the late autumn season, the turning point of my life.

Since I was born in October, autumn is my favorite season, and winter, when my body and mind tighten up, is good, but I also want to enjoy spring, when new things are budding, and I want to enjoy summer with young people.

What I am trying to say is that I am not yet ready to master my life or put it all together, but I still want to have various dreams, work hard for my dreams, and develop myself even more.

Compared to when I was in my 20s and 30s, when I had no idea what the future held for me, now that I am in my 50s, I have a clear idea of what I want to achieve and what I need to do to get there. However, I also know that my physical and mental strength will continue to decline if I don’t do anything about it, so I want to make sure that I maintain my body and mind.

That being said, I had a day of unexplained fatigue today, and I didn’t feel like doing anything.
I decided to rest my body and mind completely without pushing myself. Instead, I will wake up earlier than usual tomorrow and if I feel well, I will start my activities early in the morning.

I talked about comparing life to the four seasons, but I thought that if we divide the time of a day into morning, noon, evening, and night, we might be able to compare it directly to spring, summer, autumn, and winter. This way, I can enjoy all four seasons in one day and start my life over again from spring every day, which I think is more suitable for me now.
