11月に入りましたが、我が家の夢の自宅建築の計画も、ようやくハウスメーカーが決まりそうなところまできました。
9月に、十何社に及ぶハウスメーカーと工務店に間取りと費用概算を出してもらうように依頼してから約2か月。
出てきた間取りや、外観のパース、概算費用を比べながら数社に絞り込みましたが、いよいよ今週本命の二社と直接お話を聞く予定になっているのでそこでどちからに決めることになるかと思っています。
ハウスメーカーが決まったら、来年の6月いこうにの着工を目指しているので約半年間かけて全ての仕様とディティールを決めることになります。
家を建てた先輩方のお話を聞く限り、ここで自分たちの理想を貫くとどんどんど費用が嵩むことになり、逆にここで妥協してしまうと理想の家とは程遠いものになってしまうといいます。
今回選ぼうとしているハウスメーカーはとても良心的な費用を提示してくれたことが心が動いている大きな理由の一つですが、一方でできるだけかっこよく居心地の良い家という点でどこまで自分たちの希望通りの家を実現してくれるか不安な部分があります。また、
家の延床面積に比べて土地面積がかなり広く、かなり大掛かりな外溝工事とその費用がかかることも不安な材料になっています。
今週の金曜日に外溝工事屋さんにも同席いただいてお話を聞くことになっているので、こちらの希望は全て出してみて総額でどれくらいかかるのかを聞いてみたいと思います。
ワクワクする家を作りたい。
そんな気持ちから始めたプロジェクトなので、自分の夢を自分で壊さないように諦めずに交渉していきたいと思います。

It is now November, and we are finally at the point where we are about to decide on a house builder for our dream home construction project.
It has been about two months since we requested floor plans and cost estimates from more than a dozen housebuilders and construction companies in September.
We have narrowed it down to a few companies by comparing the floor plans, exterior perspectives, and cost estimates that came out, but we are finally scheduled to meet directly with the two main contractors this week, so we will have to decide between them.
Once we have decided on a house builder, we are aiming to start construction in June of next year, so we will have about six months to decide on all the specifications and details.
According to our seniors who have built houses, if we stick to our ideals here, the cost will increase, and if we compromise here, the house will be far from our ideals.
One of the main reasons we are so excited about the house builder we are going to choose is that they have offered us a very reasonable cost, but on the other hand, we are not sure how far they will go to make the house as cool and comfortable as possible, just as we want it.
Another cause for concern is the fact that the land surface area is quite large compared to the total floor area of the house, which will require a rather large exterior guttering project and its cost.
We will have the guttering contractor present to talk with us this Friday, so we will try to give them all of our wishes and ask them how much the total cost will be.
I want to build an exciting house.
That’s how I started this project, so I will negotiate without giving up so as not to destroy my dream myself.
