先日、取り寄せをお願いしたバッグが届いたので、鎌倉のパタゴニア店に行きました。
そして、自分用と妻用に二つもバッグを買ってしまいました。
先ず妻用のバッグは、ウルトラライト・ブラックホール・トート・パックという商品名になります。
商品名の通り、形はトートバックのような形で、生地はナイロン製、手提げとしてもバックパックしても使えます。商品名の通り、非常に軽く、容量は27リットルも入るので、普段使いにとても重宝しそうです。店員さんも、女性に大変人気のある商品だと仰っていました。
次に、私用のバックは、ブラックホール・ミニ・MLCになります。
もう一点ブラックホール・パックという商品も取り寄せてもらったのですが、実際に商品を見てみて、直ぐに決めてしまいました。こちらも、ショルダーにバックパック、手提げでも使えます。パタゴニアのウェブサイトによると、バッグ全体にサーモプラスチックポリポリウレタンのフィルムをラミネートしたポリエステルを使用しているので防水、撥水、防汚性に長けているそうです。アウトドアでもがんがんに使えそうですね。
また、あらゆるところにジッパーがついていて、コンポーネントも大きく三つに分かれているので、物を分けて収納できるのも重宝しそうです。ちなみに容量は26リットルです。
ということで、同時にバックを二つも購入してしまいましたが、これから使い倒してどんどんと愛着が出てくればいいなと思っています。
物を単なる物と見るのではなく、愛着のあるものを長く、大事に使えるととても嬉しいですよね。
私は、昔から何か気にいると、ずっとそればかり使い、同じものをいくつも買う癖があります。
流石にバックは同じ物を買うのはどうかと思いますが、良く考えたらランニング用に買ったバックパックはとても気に入り、今使っているものがダメになった時ように既に同じ物を買っているのでした。

The other day, I went to the Patagonia store in Kamakura because the bags I requested to be ordered arrived.
I bought two bags, one for myself and one for my wife.
The first bag for my wife is called the Ultralight Black Hole Tote Pack.
As the name suggests, it is shaped like a tote bag, made of nylon, and can be used as a handbag or a backpack. As the product name suggests, it is very light and has a capacity of 27 liters, so it will be very useful for daily use. The staff at the store said that it is a very popular product among women.
The next bag for me will be the Black Hole Mini MLC. I also ordered another product called the Black Hole Pack, but after seeing it in person, I immediately decided on it.
This pack can also be used as a shoulder bag, backpack, or handbag. According to the Patagonia website, the entire bag is made of polyester laminated with a thermoplastic polyurethane film, making it waterproof, water repellent and stain resistant. It looks like it can be used for outdoor activities with a lot of energy.
It also has zippers everywhere and three major components, so it will be useful to store things separately. By the way, the capacity is 26 liters.
So, I bought two bags at the same time, and I hope to use them up and get more and more attached to them.
I am very happy when I can use something that I am attached to for a long time and take good care of it, instead of just looking at it as an object.
If I like something, I tend to use it all the time and buy many of the same things.
I don’t think it’s a good idea to buy the same backpack, but when I thought about it, I loved the backpack I bought for running so much that I already bought the same one for when the one I’m using now becomes useless.
年を取り、欲しいものもだいぶ少なくなった分、何かを買うときにはできるだけ吟味をして、愛着の持てるモノを持ちたいですね。
