昨年の7月に始まったドリームハウスプロジェクト。
こちら、その時に投稿したブログ記事です。
あれから数多くのハウスメーカーを検討して、11月ごろにはお願いするハウスメーカーが決まりました。そして、この半年近くで何回も打ち合わせを重ね、最初に提出した以下の希望は全て実現できそうです。
- 平家であること
- 車が3台に、自転車、アウトドア用品などが入る屋根付きガレージ
- 大型犬であるチャーリーがくつろげる広い土間に、ゆったりとしたシューズクローク
- 土間からつながる広めのアイランドキッチン
- キッチンからつながる大きめのリビング浴室、脱衣所、洗濯機などの水回りに、洗濯物を室内干しできるラウンドリースペースに、その隣に家族の洋服を全て収納できる大容量ウォークインクローゼット
- キッチンとリビング側に大開口の窓
- 日中カーテンやシャッターを閉めなくてもプライベート空間を確保できる、コの字方の家、もしくは、外構の高い壁によりプライベートを確保
- キッチン、リビング側に大きなウッドデッキを張り出し、ハンモックを置いたり、BBQ台を設置
- 音楽を大音量で聴いたり、ギターを演奏できる防音対策のされた趣味部屋（書斎）
- 家庭菜園のスペースと中庭があること
着工するまでにはまだ5ヶ月後くらい先になり、実際に完成して住み始められるのは来年の春頃になると思いますが、自分たちの夢が一つ一つ形になっていくことにワクワクしています。そして、新しい家に引っ越してから始めたいこともたくさんあるので、人生100年時代を楽しめるように毎日やるべきことを愚直にしていきたいと思います。

The Dream House project started last July.
Here is the blog post I posted at that time.
Since then, we have considered a number of house builders, and around November, we decided on the house builder we would ask for. And after many meetings over the past nearly six months, it looks like we will be able to realize all of the following wishes that we initially submitted.
- The house should be a single-story house
- A covered garage for three cars, bicycles, and outdoor equipment
- A large earthen floor where Charlie, our large dog, can relax, and a spacious shoe closet
- A spacious kitchen with an island connected to the earthen floor.
- A large living room bathroom, dressing room, and laundry room connected to the kitchen, a roundley space for drying laundry indoors, and a large walk-in closet next to it for storing all the family’s clothes.
- Large windows on the kitchen and living room side
- U-shaped house that allows for private space without the need to close curtains or shutters during the day, or a high wall on the exterior to ensure privacy
- A large wooden deck on the kitchen and living room side, with a hammock or BBQ table.
- A soundproofed hobby room (study) for listening to loud music or playing guitar
- Space for a vegetable garden and a patio.
It will still be about five months before construction begins, and it will be next spring before we can actually finish and start living in the house, but we are excited to see our dreams taking shape one by one.
And since there are many things I want to start after we move into our new house, I will foolishly do what I need to do every day so that I can enjoy the 100-year period of my life.
去年の7月から始めたドリームハウスプロジェクト。ハウスメーカーの選定から打ち合わせを重ねに重ねようやく9月くらいに着工できそうです。実際に住み始められるのは一年くらい先になりますが今からワクワクしています。
