There are only a few days left in this year.

It is said that as we get older, time seems to pass more quickly each year. The reason for this is that as we gain more experience in life, we have fewer and fewer new experiences, and when we start repeating the same experiences, whether they are from five years ago or today, they are almost the same, so time seems to pass more quickly. The reason for this is that as we accumulate new experiences in our lives, they become less and less common.

I myself have decided to make a major shift in my life due to the death of my father and the Corona disaster, and have taken on many new challenges in the past three years, so time has certainly seemed to have passed more intensely and longer over the past three years.

Another thing that has changed with respect to the concept of time is that I have become more conscious of the need to concentrate when doing one thing anyway, since I have started many new things and have run out of time. As a result, not only have my concentration skills been strengthened, but I also feel that my sense of happiness has increased. I believe that this is due to the fact that when I concentrate on one thing, it becomes harder for other troubles to appear, and as a result, I have become more mentally stable.

By the way, as Japanese people, cleaning is a year-end event for us, and this year I would like to take the plunge and start decluttering.

I feel that living a simple, minimalist life with as few things as possible is also very effective in increasing my happiness level.

Therefore, I think that next year is the last preparation period for me to focus on what I want to do and what I like to do.

For this purpose, I would like to start putting my mind to it from the end of the year, so that I can jump-start the New Year.

By the way, today is the anniversary of my father’s death, and three years have passed since he passed away.

I have rebelled against my father quite a bit since I was an adolescent, but in the end, it was he who gave me the opportunity to change my life.

Thank you for still supporting me in my heart and mind.
