日本の人口は、2008年をピークに減少基調にあり、2020年の国勢調査では、日本の人口は1億2614万人で、5年前から約95万人が減少しているそうです。
そして、今から79年後の2100年には人口が6000万人程度、つまり今の半分になることが分かっています。
人口が半分に減るということは、経済の規模も半分、労働力も半分になるのかと思いきや、20年後には、現在の労働人口の49%がAI (人工知能)に取って変わられるという予測が多くのシンクタンク機関からレポートされています。
ということで、これからの社会を生き抜いていくためには、AIやロボットでもできることではなくて、機械に代替えされない、付加価値の高い仕事に就くことが大切だとされていますよね。
クリエイターやアーティスト、プロデューサーなどは代替えされにくい職業の最もたるものかも知れませんが、なんか30年も会社員をやってきた私などからすると、特殊で、敷居も高いように見えます。
ただ、SNSの発展で個人の活躍が容易になった今、自分からアーティストですと名乗って仕まえば、その日から誰でもアーティストになれる時代になりつつあるのではないでしょうか。
例えば、SNSの無かった時代、”私は作家です”と名乗るには、自分の書いた文章を出版社に売り込み、そこで出版に漕ぎ着けた人だけが名乗れる特権階級だったかもしれません。
ところが、今や、Noteなどのサイトで自分の書いた文章を有料で販売することが普通になっていて、そんな人が私は作家ですと堂々と言える社会になっています。
私自身は、残された人生、とにかくやりたいことを初めて、好きなことを極めていくことを目標にしていますが、それは言い換えると、代替えのきく仕事人生からは自ら降りて、あとは、アーティストウェイを極めていくということだと思っています。
さあ、今日も想像力を上げていきます。

Japan’s population peaked in 2008 and has been on a downward trend since then. According to the 2020 census, Japan’s population will be 126.14 million, a decrease of about 950,000 people from five years ago.
And in 2100, 79 years from now, we know that the population will be about 60 million, or half of what it is now.
Many think tanks are predicting that in 20 years, AI (artificial intelligence) will replace 49% of the current workforce.
This means that in order to survive in the future society, it is important to find a job with high added value that cannot be replaced by machines, not something that can be done by AI or robots.
Creators, artists, and producers may be the best examples of jobs that are hard to replace, but as someone who has been working in a company for 30 years, they seem to me to be special and have a high threshold.
However, with the development of social networking sites, it has become easier for individuals to be active, and I believe that we are now living in an age where anyone can become an artist as long as they identify themselves as such.
For example, when there were no social networking services, it was a privilege to call oneself an “artist” only if one sold one’s writing to a publisher and got it published.
Now, however, it has become common for people to sell their writings for a fee on sites such as Note, and we live in a society where such people can proudly say that they are writers.
In other words, I want to get out of the alternative work life and pursue the artist’s way.
Now, I’m going to raise my imagination again today.
