On Saturday, for the first time in a little over a month, I have band practice with a group of five elementary school classmates.

I have been practicing my guitar for this day, and I am looking forward to playing with everyone.

In a sense, I consider it a miracle that I am able to connect through music at the age of 53 and with friends I have known for over 40 years, but I feel as though I am being taught anew the importance of joining forces with others and working together to accomplish something through the activities of the band.

And I think this also applies to working together as a family to protect the family, and the same applies to working together as a whole team on a single goal at work.

After all, we are supported by someone and live by supporting someone else, and it is difficult to live alone unless you become a hermit.

So I thought that if we choose to live a happy life, we should strive to become someone who can support others as much as possible, and then honestly accept and appreciate others’ help.

While I was thinking about this, I happened to see a video on YouTube that introduced the Law of Attraction. In the video, he explained that in order to attract positive things, you must first take the initiative to give to others, which resonated with me.

This spirit of altruism has been taught in Buddhism since ancient times, but I think it is hard to find people who actually put it into action.

Nevertheless, I believe that many Japanese in the past, when Buddhism was more familiar to them than it is today, possessed this temperament. I believe that this was a virtue and a strength of the Japanese people. However, in today’s Japan, despite the country’s material wealth, one often encounters situations where people lack the mental capacity and compassion for others.

I sometimes hear that the level of happiness of Japanese people is low compared to the rest of the world, and this may be the reason for this.

If I want to be happy, I should first take care of my behavior so that I can make others happy, and I would like to start from there.
