最近、YouTubeで何気に見た、お笑いコンビのダイアンの動画を見てハマっています。
ツッコミ担当の津田さんとボケ担当のユースケさんのやり取りが面白く、動画を見るまでは、TVのバラエティ番組でたまに津田さんがイジられているのを見るくらいでした。
でも、ダイアンのYuTubeチャンネルをみて、ダイアンの本当の面白さは、津田さんの面白さをユースケさんが最大限に引き出すからこそ生まれるお笑いであると確信しました。
2000年にコンビを結成して以来、2007年、2008年にはM-1グランプリのファイナリストにもなっていて、大阪での人気は不動のものだったようですが、デビューして18年目にして東京に活動拠点を移されています。
東京での知名度は大阪での活躍を考えると、もっと売れてもいいのにと思ってしまいますが、TVのバラエティ番組のひな壇でその他大勢の芸人と並んでいてもダイアンの良さは伝わらないように感じます。
なので、二人の掛け合いをひたすら見れるYouTubeのチャンネルの登録者数、再生回数がもっともっと増えれば、もっと人気の出る芸人さんではないでしょうか。
お二人とも地元の滋賀県の中学校の同級生ですが、現在45歳なので、私の9歳下になります。
45歳というと、会社員であれば中間管理職になっている人が多いのだと思いますが、お二人はいつまでも若手芸人のように貪欲に笑いをとりにいき、また、いつまでも現役にこだわっているように見受けられます。
私自身も、評論家ではなく現役に拘り、いくつになっても、もっと上手くなりたい、まだまだ夢を叶えたいと最後までもがき続けることができればそれが本望だと思っています。
ダイアンに自分を重ねて、今日も貪欲に生きていきましょう。

Recently, I casually watched a video of the comedy duo Diane on YouTube and got hooked.
The interaction between Mr. Tsuda, the comedian, and Mr. Yusuke, the blabbermouth, is hilarious. Until I saw the video, I had only seen Mr. Tsuda being teased occasionally on TV variety shows.
But after watching Diane’s YuTube channel, I was convinced that the real fun of Diane’s comedy comes from Yusuke’s ability to bring out the best in Mr. Tsuda.
Since the duo formed in 2000, they have been finalists in the M-1 Grand Prix in 2007 and 2008, and their popularity in Osaka seems to have been unshakable, but 18 years after their debut, they have moved their base of activities to Tokyo.
Although Diane’s name recognition in Tokyo is not as high as it should be considering her success in Osaka, I feel that Diane’s quality is not conveyed when she is standing side by side with many other comedians on the dais of TV variety shows.
Therefore, I think that if the number of subscribers and views of their YouTube channel, where you can watch them interact with each other incessantly, increases more and more, they would be more popular comedians.
They are both classmates of mine from junior high school in my hometown in Shiga Prefecture, and they are now 45 years old, which makes them 9 years younger than me.
At 45 years old, most people in the corporate world would be in middle management, but the two of you seem to be insisting on staying in the workforce forever and greedily trying to make people laugh, just like young comedians.
I, too, am not a critic, but an active participant. No matter how old I get, if I can continue to struggle to get better and fulfill my dreams to the end, then that is what I really want.
Let’s put ourselves in Diane’s shoes and live greedily today.
遅ればせながら、お笑いコンビのダイアンのYouTubeチャンネルにハマっています。お二人とも東京に進出した後、45歳という年齢ながら若手芸人のように貪欲に笑いを取りにいき、いつまでも現役に拘っているように感じます。私も生涯現役を目指していきたい。
