The world is full of negative news, and it could be said that this is because we ourselves are looking for negative news.

We are more likely to be interested in unhappy stories than happy ones, and gossip and rumors are full of unhappy stories about others.

In the first place, we humans may have survived and developed to this point, driven by negative thoughts of anxiety, crisis, and despair.

Nevertheless, what is very different from the past is that more and more people want to satisfy their internal, higher-dimensional needs, such as self-actualization and self-transcendence, rather than their external, lower-dimensional needs, such as physiological, safety, and social needs.

I believe that in order to fulfill this need for self-actualization and self-transcendence, overwhelmingly positive thinking is necessary.

As a person who professes to be a master of happiness, I challenge myself every day to stay happy at all times, but there are moments when I am pulled by negative emotions and feel that I am not happy.

Recently, however, I’ve started to think that it’s not healthy to try to suppress negative emotions when they come up, and I try to accept them for what they are. Then, when I calm down, I try to ask myself as objectively as possible why the negative feelings came up, and think about how I can prevent the same negative thoughts from coming up again.

In my case, negative emotions come out when things don’t go my way, or when someone points out something wrong with me that I know I need to fix.

I know that both of these are selfish reasons, but when I feel negative emotions, I try to leave the situation as much as possible.

When I get away from the situation and analyze myself after I cool down, it’s clear that the negativity is self-inflicted due to selfish reasons, so I just have to remind myself to let go of trying to control something in the first place.

I haven’t yet reached the point of letting go completely, but I believe that if I can do that, I will truly become a master of happiness.

I would like to continue my practice today so that I can one day become a master of happiness.
