格闘技好きな方なら、6/19に行われる、武尊Vs那須川天心の試合を心待ちにしている人が多いと思います。
私自身は格闘技には疎いのですが、実力の拮抗しているこの二人の格闘家にとって最後の武器となるのは、人間力ではないかというコメントをどこかで読んでなるほどと思いました。
人によって人間力をどう捉えるかは違うと思いますが、私自身は、人間力の高い人とは、天命を知り、使命を持ち、その使命を果たすために一生を捧げている人だと思っています。
つまり、人間力の高い人は、人生のどこかで覚悟を決めて、自分が信じる道を求道者のように求めている人のことを言うのではないでしょうか。
イチローさんが45歳で現役を引退したのが2019年。あれから3年経っていますが、今でも練習や筋トレを欠かさず、”今が一番野球が好きと”と言えるのも、野球の楽しさを伝えることがイチローさんの天命であり、どこかでまだ野球を上手くなれるとどこかで思っている求道者だからかもしれません。
私自身、53歳になる今でも、自分が何者なのか悩むこともありますが、それでも自分の天命が何なのかを考え続け、使命を持って生きれるように少しづつでも行動を起こすように心がけています。
好きなことや、やりたいことだけをして、結果、それが誰かのためになったり、誰かを勇気づけることができたら、それはもう本当に自分の命を捧げてもいい使命となるのではないでしょうか。
簡単なことでないですが、残りの人生をかけて使命を持てるように今できることをやっていきたいと思います。
6/19は、結果がどうなるにせよ、二人の最高なファイターの最高な試合が見れることを楽しみにしています。

Ichiro retired from active duty at the age of 45 in 2019. It has been three years since then, but he still never misses practice and muscle training, and he can say, “I love baseball now more than ever. Perhaps that is because he is a seeker who still thinks he can be good at baseball.
Even now, at the age of 53, I sometimes wonder who I am, but I keep thinking about what my destiny is and try to take action, little by little, so that I can live my life with a mission.
If I can do only what I love and what I want to do, and as a result, it benefits or encourages someone else, then that would be a mission to which I can truly dedicate my life.
It is not an easy task, but I will do what I can do now so that I can have a mission for the rest of my life.
