(English)

I take online guitar lessons three times a month, but I haven’t touched my guitar at all for the past two weeks in between lessons.

In short, I’ve been slacking off. Shortly before the time of my first lesson in a while, I tried to play some chords I’d learned to practice, but I was shocked to find that I couldn’t play them very well anymore.

My teacher also told me that it would take me three times as long to get it back.

In my head, I know the importance of making a steady effort every day, but I never thought I would feel that importance keenly with a guitar that I started when I am over 50 years.

I was a little depressed, but I reminded myself that I am truly blessed to be able to learn new things and experience things that I cannot do at my age, and I would like to practice a little bit every day with the intention of starting over from today.

I’ve been feeling sorry for myself that I’ve been a little busy these past two weeks and haven’t been able to do the things I should have been doing, but I’ve also decided that I need to take some time to refresh myself, so I’ve been reading English books with Charlie in my hammock, which has been my favorite spot lately.
