Everyone thinks that Shohei Ohtani, who play in the MLB, is a unique person who keeps challenging himself to do things that no one has ever done before, but when we come into this world, we are all unique and no one can take your place.

However, when we come into this world, we are all unique, and no one can replace you. Even though we are unique, I think we sometimes narrow down our own place in the world by seeking social conventions and comfort.

As long as we are social creatures, categorization and grouping is inevitable, but I think Japanese people have a strong obsession with peer pressure and the fear of being ostracized if we are not like everyone else.

On the other hand, there is one thing in common among the people I have admired and respected from my childhood up to now.

They are all people who have continued to do what they believe in single-mindedly, overcoming difficulties, without worrying about what others think. They are all people who believe in the meaning of their own existence and have honestly lived their own lives.

Up until now, I have thought of my admirers as just that, admirers, distant from me, but from now on, I hope to be as close to them as possible, to be honest with myself, and to follow the path I believe in.

I am convinced that this is the only thing I have been given to do in this life.
