昨日、自分の英語に対する尽きることのない情熱をブログに書いていて、さらに気持ちが高まり、今の英語の勉強法を再考したくなりました。
現在行っているルーティンは、主に二つ。一つは英書52冊チャレンジを達成するための音読リーディング、もう一つは、英エコノミスト誌の音声記事を聴きながらのシャドーイング。
これらは、リーディングとリスニングになるので両方ともインプットの勉強です。ここにもう一つアウトプットの勉強を取り入れるためにセルフディベートの勉強法をルーティンに取り入れることにしました。
以前このブログでも取り上げましたが、もう一度、その勉強法を紹介してみたいと思います。

それでは、上のトピック例を使って、実際にセルフディベートをしてみます。
ポイントはあくまでも限られた時間の中で如何に早く議論を組み立てるかがポイントとなります。思考能力、プレゼン能力の改善および、英語で行えば英語のブラッシュアップにもなります。

例）Yes, we must not resume operations of nuclear power plant and make sure we do not cause another Fukushima Dai-ichi power plant disasters. We proves ourselves that we could live without nuclear power plant in last several years in terms of electricity supply over demand. Hence, Nuclear power plant only harms us and renewal energy give us safer environment.

例）Halt of nuclear power plant operation over the last several years have been imposing heavy financial burden on public as electricity bill hike , not only that, but also causing people spent less money on another economic activity such as food and goods. Until we become to have capacity for renewal energy to provide lower bills than nuclear power bills, we should not abandon a nuclear power generation, but use an energy mix of nuclear power and renewal energy such as solar and wind power.

例）We should not de-prioritize human’s life over an economic growth. We can also expect to boost our economy by promoting new business enterprise in areas such as solar power, wind power, geothermal power and or any kind of alternative energy sources and we no longer need a old fashioned and government protected business enterprise like TEPCO.

例）There can not be denied that nuclear power is the most efficient and cheapest energy source if used correctly. Abandoning them because of one incident is not logical and wise decision we made. And coal mining is well known as one of the highest death rate it marked.

例）Let’s look at reality. How many countries made decision to abandon nuclear power generation. Only Germany and they don’t look successful. Only option we should take and makes them sustainable is that we use nuclear power generation while at the same time we increase usage of renewal energy. Government has already committed that they adopt more strict safety measures to allow the nuclear power generator to resume the operation and also promote new ventures to enter renewable energy business. Energy mix is the best option. That’s obvious.
