(English)

Unlike when I was younger, there is no doubt that time is the most important asset for me now that I am 54 years old.

The fact that a day is 24 hours does not change when I was young or when I got older, but I feel that the way I use time has changed since I became aware that the time I have left to live my life is getting smaller and smaller.

Or rather, when I decide to live my life straight through, rather than living someone else’s life for the time I have left, I have become more and more reluctant to let time pass anyway.

In this sense, it is important not to neglect the actions I choose to take, no matter how trivial they may seem, and to value what I do on a daily basis.

I have learned that if I always focus my attention on what I should be doing and how I should be doing it, I will never do anything in vain, and I will work hard at what I think are trivial things. And I believe that if those daily deeds are done correctly, they will always show up in a good way later on.

I myself am not as talented as others and have not accomplished anything that I can boast about, but if there is one thing that I can be proud of, it is that I have been doing what I am interested in since I was a child until now, at the age of 54. My passion for learning English has not diminished, but has only grown with each passing year. And I believe that the source of that passion is the sublimation of the time I have accumulated over the years that drives me.

In this way, English becomes a part of my life, and reading English seven or eight hours a day does not bother me; on the contrary, it makes me want to study English even more.

I will cherish the time I have left from now on and accelerate my English study more and more.
